The 47th recipe I made for the Cook the Book Fridays group using the Everyday Dorie cookbook by Dorie Greenspan is Miso-Maple Jammed Sweet Potatoes, it can be found on page 226.
Ingredients: sweet potatoes, butter, miso, maple syrup, ponzu sauce, Sriracha, salt, and pepper.
This is a fun way to dress up a sweet potato with limited amount of ingredients, I always have these ingredients on hand, not that sweet potatoes need dressing up as my favorite way to eat them is just plain after baking in the oven, I don’t even need salt and pepper on them, they are perfect just the way they are. I would make these again, they have a little nutty sweet and salty vibe that is absolutely delicious. I would cut back by half at least with the maple syrup ingredient as it was a bit too sweet for me. I can't say enough good things about the additional of miso...oh that was delicious, I need to remember to use miso in things more often.
