SWIMMING NEWS:  Matt's enjoying the high school swim season. He had a great meet today and each senior boy got a blanket with his name on it (photo).  He was happy to get such a nice gift from the team. 

COOKING BYTES:  Need to get better organized in the new year to get all my blog-alongs on track...seems I have fallen behind here at the end of the year. 

FAV NEW FIND:  Hominy...who knew?  None of us had ever had it before the Ellie recipe this week.  Turns out, hominy is quite good.

FAV THING THIS WEEK:  Vacation time with Matt and Mark.

GOING TO:  Celebrate the New Year and enjoy this weekend just moving wherever the wind takes me...Monday will come soon enough and then it's back to school and back to work for everyone here.
