Each Sunday morning, after the CBS Sunday Morning news show, I make the guys something we call The Big Sunday Breakfast.
TBSB consists of things they do not have time to sit and eat of a week day when breakfast is usually portable food in hand as they head out the door so that they can sleep until the last possible moment before rising, dressing, and hitting the road for work, school, swim practice, etc. Things like pancakes or waffles or scrambled eggs, with an accompanying side of bacon or sausage, and a variety of juice offerings.
Harrison's mother took the above photo this morning at the USA Swimming venue at OSU where the boys were having a bite to eat and waiting for their turn to swim time trials. Matt (left) and Harrison (right) with their buddies in the box (far left).
Breakfast of Champions, or at least a bite to tide them over until more appropriate offerings can be scored...and if Mary is reading this, please note that John is not anywhere near that box and is probably off scoring yogurt and fruit and a bit of granola because he is definitely more trustworthy in the realm of scoring non-junk food than are these two!
