The recipes chosen this week for CEiMB, using Ellie Krieger's book, The Food You Crave, were free choice, meaning we had a chance to pick any recipe that we hadn't had a chance to make that had already been made by the group. I chose to make Sesame Teriyaki Chicken Thighs, found on page 209 and here, and Orange-Pistachio Wild Rice Salad, found on page 147 and here, and I served them with plain steamed asparagus glistened with a tiny bit of butter.
The chicken was wonderful, definitely a repeat, easy and tasty. The wild rice salad was also wonderful, definitely a repeat. Weeknight recipes with a bit of flair.
