I did a rewind recipe this week for CEiMB, using Ellie Krieger's book The Food You Crave, as I could drum up no interest from the guys on the one actually chosen for this week, which was Hash. Instead, I finally got around to making the Crab Cakes with Smarter Tarter, found on pages 240-241. This recipe was chosen Christmas week by Lauryn of Bella Baker. We enjoyed this recipe very much, The ingredient list is not long, nor is the process time consuming, so go to Lauryn's site for the whole deal. I did really like that it was all baked in the oven, so other than flipping it once half-way through the cooking time, there was not a lot of fuss cooking. The taste is just wonderfully fresh and delicious. Definitely another keeper.
