The bars are absolutely delicious and easy to make. The glaze is absolutely delicious and easy to make (Ulrike says it is not acceptable to eat just the glaze without the bars, but oh, the temptation is great to just eat a little spoonful of that caramel glaze alone).
Around here, there can never be too many things made with apples, so the bars were a big hit and I will continue to make them from time to time.
