Our friends Laurie and Ali always give Buddy (husband/father) very interesting birthday gifts.
Last year, for instance, they gave him a suite at the Indians' baseball game. Buddy and at least a dozen of his friends had a wonderful evening. To top it all off, they had arranged for him to throw out the first pitch of the game.
This year they gave him a sushi making class with a chef at a sushi restaurant here in Indy.
At the CSC Swim Banquet Brunch on Sunday, we got to hear all about the experience, and Buddy sent a few photos to me.
The entire experience sounded like such fun, I thought I would share the photos with you just in case anyone is searching for an interesting and unique gift for a loved one. Sushi making class looks like a lot of fun judging from the smiles on their faces and just look...they made all those and more! Buddy is holding a plate of sushi designed to look like a dragon.
This is such a great photo of both Buddy and Laurie..."MFEO" as they say in the movie Sleepless in Seattle...Made For Each Other. A very fun birthday!
