Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! Many good thoughts from us to you for great food, fun times, happy memories, and, of course, safe travel.
As usual, I took a few photos, put down the camera, and never picked it up again for the rest of the night, what can I say? Sometimes there is just a lot more to keep one occupied and photos go by the wayside. Glenn, David, Alex, Matt, Steven, Jonathan, and Mark getting the littles settled with their plates. Steven's favorite: rolls! And not much else!
The little boys have very strange eating habits at Thanksgiving. I decided to take a photo of each of their plates as they sat down to eat because in a few years they will not believe that this was all they would eat from a large selection of offerings at Grandma and Grandpa's house each year. Jonathan has just turkey and a half of a deviled egg.
You will note that as they get older, the plates seem to mature also...well, with the exception of Alex, of course, who remains an enigma on all things food. Honestly, I don't know where he gets that...LOL. Turkey and a roll...these are the plates AFTER they have gone through the line and BEFORE they have eaten a single thing off of them. David (left) has a bit more going on with his plate of food. And, Matt, of course, below, makes sure all the colors are represented, and this was only his FIRST plate of food as he doesn't like to mix savories and salads on one plate. I guess it is good they all drink lots of milk at this age. The final photo is the ever popular Aunt Nan with Glenn, which is where I lost the camera, filled my plate with two bites each of about six or seven different selections and enjoyed the meal and conversation. Might get some more photos later in the weekend.
