Well, around about now you are probably wondering how the swimming went this morning and all I can say is that there will be another opportunity next week at Indiana Senior State Swimming.
We knew it wasn't good this morning when the shoulder wasn't feeling the groove and while his 50 down was looking good, after the turn, we could see it was going nowhere near his best time...ended up adding two seconds to the 100 back best time he already has, so we are not in finals for that this evening.
He has one swim left, the 100 Free tomorrow, but needs to drop at least two seconds from that swim for a Jr. Nat. cut, and I don't think the shoulder is going to see it through. I've been wrong before, but that's my best guess. Keep all the good thoughts...he is in a good frame of mind as his coach was very encouraging and supportive, so that is helping the attitude immensely...that and a nice lunch at Lennie's! Still can't get photos to post...those will come later. Kids are all having a fun time and enjoying the time together.
