Knit 3 Purl 3...Stuck. Definitely stuck. This is where I could use a knitting buddy who knew what she was doing, i.e. someone with experience as on Sundays the knitting shop is closed and therefore, stuck I remain until tomorrow when I can float by there between swim runs. Somehow I dropped a stitch and I can't seem to figure out where, when, or what to do next. Do I rip out everything until I reach a row with the number of stitches I am supposed to have (110), or do I just add one, and if so, where do I do that so as to not offset the pattern...call or email if you are reading this and know the answer. I will be forever grateful! Definitely need to get this straightened out before I head out of town with the idea of knitting at the swim meet!
Would you just look at this Basil this year? For three years I moved Basil about the yard and garden plots looking for ideal conditions, to only be very disappointed in the basil "crop" each year. Turns out, go figure, that all he wanted all along was his very own pot at the edge of the deck. Roasted Tomato Basil Soup in the very near future, like probably tomorrow. The fragrance! And, how convenient is this to have him right outside the kitchen door?
Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday, I am just putting the finishing touches on a picnic for 16 and hopefully in an hour or so, Mark will be grillin' and we will all be chillin' and enjoying a picnic on this fine summer day! All my little deviled eggs are sporting a fresh herb on their tops from my herb pots...so lovely looking: it really doesn't take much to thrill me, does it?
As always, I wish you were here...or I was there. I miss you always! Have a great evening.
