Cheryl & Co. Cookies...Downright Sinful!
READING: A mishmash of things as I am catching up on bits and pieces so I can start the new year fresh.
POOLSIDE READING: Carolyn Hart's mysteries.
LISTENING TO: Christmas music: Bing, Perry, Andy, Johnny, Nat...all the golden oldies...just when you thought I was going to say Axl, Tom, Joe, Bob, Jerry...the time to define me in music is never. (And, it just occurred to me that the latter group is probably also considered the golden oldies these days.)
COOKING THROUGH: Not much...we are so busy with swimming and choir that it has been old standbys only...nothing new going on at all. Next week.
FAV NEW FIND: Cheryl's Cookies...Renee sent them to us for Christmas and these should be ILLEGAL! They are so good...I am going to have to lose the ordering information immediately. Thanks, Renee, they are really really good. (Too late: ordering info, should you want to check it out is www.CherylandCo.com)
FAV THING TODAY: Getting Christmas cards, photos, and letters in the mail. Absolutely my favorite time of year for mail!
GOING TO: Get all the Christmas prep done over the weekend so we can just enjoy Monday and Tuesday with no thoughts of needing to get anything done! (Well, I need to cook the Christmas Eve bash, but that I can do in my sleep, so that doesn't count.)
PRAYING FOR: A speedy recovery for Mark's Dad, Emil, who had surgery yesterday; for safe travel for the holidays for everyone; for families who have had to part with loved ones this year and are in mourning their first Christmas without them; and for friends and family near and far...please join me.
