El desayuno perfecto: El melocotón frescamente cortado, las frambuesas, y un par de cucharones del yogur. ¡No puede conseguir mejor que esto! (The perfect breakfast: freshly sliced peach, raspberries, and a couple of tablespoons of yogurt. It can't get much better than this!)
Oh, these peaches are wonderful...this time of year they are so sweet and juicy you can almost just see and smell them and you feel like you have already eaten them! The boys are taking Spanish at school this year and since Spanish is not one of those languages I ever thought about taking, I decided I would try to learn a little along with them...so, I am embarking upon Beginning Spanish...surely that will come in useful at some point (if nothing else, to know what they are saying around here might be nice).
Lots to do this week, and best of all, a three day holiday coming up with Labor Day...Blue Bernice and I are always very excited about holidays.
Mark and Alex took in the Rush concert last night. Mark's version: "It was very long and very loud. But, Alex had a great time!" Alex's version: "It was fantastic! Really great! I loved it all." More praise I cannot think there could be from a 14 year old.
Matt is back at choir and just loving seeing all his old friends from CA (three years worth) at IYC since a majority of them were older and had moved up to IYC in the last year or two. They had a retreat all day Saturday and then a regular rehearsal yesterday and he just loved seeing everyone again. There are about 90 singers in this choir and when I looked at the list, I knew probably three quarters of them, so that will be a lot of fun this year for us, too.
Okay, I have a full day, so I am outta here...have a good one and remember to do something special for someone today for no apparent reason whatsoever!
