It was great to see the ICC singers arrive at the airport today all safe and sound and looking very fit, albeit a little tired. Smiles, hugs, kisses in profusion...and that was just the singers all saying goodbye to one another after the tour! When we parents finally got a chance, one hug and I do believe my son has grown again in those eleven days. It felt so good just to see him and his wonderful smile. "Hi, Mom! I missed you so much but I had a great time!" Now, is that a perfect greeting or what? And off he went to say further goodbyes and retrieve his luggage while I waited in line for a turn to say hello to my husband after all those days, who was dispensing of chaperoning duties and greeting the families of the boys that he chaperoned during the tour for last minute bits and pieces. While I waited, I got lots of hugs from the other guys in the group, and heard lots of cute stories from the girls. The wait was, however, worth it...he is pretty much perfect at the greetings also. Ah...to have everyone home again!
Suitcases are unpacked, laundry is started, stories are being shared, the photos are on the TV screen (ohmyword they took over 3000 of them), and we are now taking a break so that Mark can run Alex over to get a new pair of glasses...don't ask...so I am blogging this because I had 57 emails this morning asking where my blog news has been these last few days! I will update more tomorrow, but for now: They're back, they're looking fit; they're just thrilled with the whole experience, and believe it or not...they're talking about next year already!
