Leslie is all about the chocolate all the time, so I was not surprised to see her name next to a chocolate week!
Mark always loves TWD brownie weeks...apparently we have had a lot of good brownies from this book and these were no exception, he loved them. They were fudgy and full of chocolate flavor with a little kick from the espresso powder.
I have a problem taking photos of brownies (they just seem like one big chocolate blob of a mess to me), so I tried to pretty these up a bit with some whipped cream and pomegranate seeds. I think they look quite nice this way and Mark loved the taste, so I'm feeling good about the whole thing. And best of all, I can just eat a bunch of pomegranate seeds with a little whipped cream and call it dessert as well! Win, win.
