This week for CEiMB, I chose to make the Cherry-Almond-Chocolate Clusters on page 214 of Ellie Krieger's book, So Easy. You can find the recipe online here.
Ingredient list: whole roasted almonds, dried, cherries, and bittersweet chocolate.
Mark hasn't had a chocolate treat all week, so I decided to make these as they were quick and easy. I also had all the ingredients on hand. The whole thing takes less than five minutes to make, and when dealing with chocolate, I have found that it's best to just get in and out as fast as possible. It makes 12, 150 calories each, for those of you wondering. Definitely a repeat.
