Bake! Truffle Brownies

 

      The twenty-first recipe that I made from Bake!  by Nick Malgieri was the one for Truffle Brownies, found on page 199. 

      This was Glennis' pick for the group and a very popular one it was, those who made them just raved about them.

      The ingredient list:  butter, chocolate, light brown sugar, flour, salt, eggs, and vanilla extract. 

      Brownies are always so easy to make, always popular with the guys here, and disappear in record time.

      The author declares these "almost as rich as chocolate truffles."  The majority of them went down with the swimmer to college, need to make these again soon apparently as Mark didn't really get his fair share.
