The recipe chosen this week for CEiMB, using Ellie Krieger's book, So Easy, was selected by Jessica at Johnstone's Vin Blanc and is Fettuccine with Crab & Asparagus. It can be found on page 164.
I will just leave that for you this week as this
recipe was not a hit here and probably the less said about it the
better. Was it Ellie's fault? Absolutely NOT. We are not big fans of
canned crab, so my thinking self should have stopped right there and
either used fresh crab claw meat, substituted shrimp, or thrown in the
towel. I think the shrimp would have been the ideal way to go as the
rest of the recipe was absolutely wonderful...just not the crab part.
