What's Up With This Weather?

       What's up with this weather?  Wow...we have had a fantastic fall.  Here it is November already and our trees are still beautifully bright. 

      The weather has been fantastic, each day with sunny skies and lovely temperatures.  What's not to love about Fall 2008? 

      Mark likes to buy tree saplings from various Presidential homes to plant in our yard.  They claim that the saplings come from the seeds of original trees alive during that President's time on their estate.  With our love of history, it seems like a fun thing to have going on here. 

      This little bitty oak, only about 30 inches tall so far, is from The Hermitage in Nashville, Tennessee, from the Andrew Jackson estate.   It's been with us for about three years, and this is the first fall it has shown any desire to be a part of the color around here.  Very cute.
